Work out commission on a single sale, including an optional accelerator rate above a threshold. Nothing you enter here leaves your browser.
How this works
Enter the sale amount and your base commission rate. If your plan pays a higher ("accelerator") rate above a certain threshold, add the threshold amount and the accelerator rate — the calculator will apply the base rate up to the threshold and the accelerator rate to everything above it, which is a common way tiered commission plans work.
Example
A £15,000 sale, with a 10% base rate up to £10,000 and a 15% accelerator rate above that: commission = (£10,000 × 10%) + (£5,000 × 15%) = £1,000 + £750 = £1,750 total.
Worth checking with your manager
Commission plans vary a lot between companies — some calculate accelerators on the whole deal once a threshold is crossed (not just the amount above it), some cap commission, some claw it back on refunds. This calculator uses one common structure, but always check your specific plan document if the numbers matter to you.
